Advanced Leadership Development
- the conference is the continuation of Made For Excellence
and is also presented by the National FFA Association.
The conference goes more in depth about goals and being

Nevada Agricultural Youth Legislative
Experience - occurs at the beginning of the
legislative session. Junior and senior students learn
about the legislative system and also participate in the
Legislative Counsel Bureau's training for the incoming
legislators. This event is organized and presented by
the student state officers.(Cost - $900) Specific

Summer Leadership Camp
- focuses on developing the chapter officers. The chapter
officers and other students attend camp to learn about
how they can make a difference in their chapter. The state
officers set an example by performing a mock banquet for
the chapter officers. The camp also provides plenty of
time for recreation and meeting fellow students. (Cost

State Convention and Career
Development Events - occur annually each
spring and serves as the culmination of the students'
year. Participants compete in over 30 different career
development events and the winners are recognized during
the seven leadership-based sessions of the convention.
These sessions also include motivational speakers, entertainment,
and the state officers' retiring addresses.
