Nursery Certification Program


Students can become industry certified

How - By taking a plant science based course from a high school agriculture education instructor, students are eligible to take the various tests associatied with UNR/Washoe County Cooperative Extension's Nursery Certification Program. These courses also meet the state of Nevada's Plant Science & Environmental Horticulture Standards (www.doe.nv.gov/Standards_CareerTech.html)

Results - Students can receive an industry recognized certificate(s), which can help them with employment or future education.

Text Used for Nursery Certification Program -

Due Dates - Notify Leslie Allen by the 15th of each month on what 5 modules you would like to have your students test on for the next month's 15th date. The first due date is September 15, so your students can test on October 15.
