State Officer Candidate Nomination Committee Pre-Training
The Made For Excellence
(MFE) and Advanced Leadership Development (ALD) trainings
occured on February 9-10, at the Winnemucca
Convention Center. These two conferences were conducted
by National FFA staff. To add some variety, this year
we conducted the Leadership Labs 1 & 2 rather than
MFE and ALD. A total of 92 students attended MFE, while 68 attended ALD. The State Officer Candidate Nomination Committee Pre-Training (NomCom) was conducted at the same time.

LOCATION: Winnemucca Convention & Visitors Authority (50 West Winnemucca Blvd.)
PARTICIPANTS: MFE (designed for Freshmen & Sophomores), ALD (designed for Juniors & Seniors), Nom Com (1 person/chapter, students must participate in pre-training)
Official Dress Required, Except after Dinner
FEES: MFE & ALD - $75/student, Nom Com - $0, Advisors/Chaperones (Lunch Fee) - $10

SCHEDULE: Day 1 - Lunch - On your own, Registration - 12:30 p.m., Conference Begins - 1 p.m., Dinner - 6-7 p.m./Training for Jr/Sr interested in State Office, Conference Continues, Night Activity 8:30-10:30 p.m.
Day 2 - Breakfast on own, Begins 8 a.m., Concludes - 11:30 a.m.
