Leadership Development Conferences

Seventy
one students attended the Made For Excellence while
91 attended the Advanced Leadership Development training.
MFE is the second component in the FFA
Leadership and Personal Growth Series. It is a two-day
personal development conference designed primarily for
high school freshman and sophomores.
ALD is the third component in the FFA
Leadership and Personal Growth Series building upon
the curriculum of both the Greenhand Conference and
MFE.
During the conferences the agriculture
instructors graded State Farmer Degree applications.
This is the highest degree Nevada Agriculture Education
can bestow on its students. The degree is based on involvement
in the FFA, student agriculture-based projects, and
financial record keeping of the projects. The degree
recipients will be awarded at the 79th Nevada FFA State
Convention, March 26-29, in Reno.
